DigiPeople is a plug-in for 3D Studio MAX R2 and 3D Studio VIZ. It allows the user to quickly place human models or groups of models in a scene. DigiPeople is a procedural geometry plug-in and includes over 30 different models. " t4 Q/ t- S+ h9 n ' \- F* c& k1 Y7 Z4 ~ To use DigiPeople select the Create tab in 3D Studio MAX or 3D Studio VIZ. Select the Geometry button, then select DigiPeople from the dropdown list. " h* q5 S1 t8 N! h$ `$ D6 y The models are similar to mannequins you might see in a department store. They can be used to quickly enhance the realism of scenes. When a model is generated it will have it's own Multi/Sub Object material that can be customized as needed. 2 h/ B i$ c8 Y1 r' } There are 5 basic groupings of models, Male, Female, Child, Handicap, and Bones. Most of the DigiPeople models are intended to be static, meaning they can't easily be animated.
